Slot Name: Jazz Time

Software: RTG

Reels: 5

Paylines: 9

USA Players: Accepted

Jazz Time gets its theme from one of the most appreciated music genres, from Jazz. The origin of the genre is the New Orleans region, from the communities of African Americans based there. It’s not a very old music style, being around since the later 19th century. The game pays homage to jazz and celebrates it, but unfortunately, it does this in a slot with only 9 pay lines arranged on its 5 reels. You can take home up to $250,000 from it though, so I can certainly forgive the design and layout choices.

Jazz Time is one of the games which US players have access to, as they do to all RTG titles.

Betting & Jackpots

A bet in Jazz Time can start at only $0.01, but it can reach values of up to $225. Each pay line that you choose to activate can get 1 to 5 coins, while denominations reach a maximum of $5. You end up with $25 line bets if you max out every option.

The game offers back payouts of up to 10,000x the line bet, so 50,000 coins or $250,000 cash if you used the maximum wager possible.

One of the two features present in Jazz Time is called Big Money Scatter Bonus. You are asked to collect certain symbols as you play, and once you have them all they assemble into a drum kit and you get paid a prize of up to 350 credits. The symbols which are collected include the drumstick, the snare drum, and the hi-hat.

The second feature is called Jazz Jam Session. All you have to do is collect three Piano symbols as you play the game, and you get access to the slot’s feature. You have to pick various instruments to play, and if the result is a solid groove, you get a win. You can continue to play those instruments until you hit a bad note. The maximum payout goes up to 4,000 credits.

The slot’s design is one of its weakest points. It uses a black and white style, with sepia colors for the background image. The symbols get mostly musical instruments in them, and that’s about it. It looks like a very old slot machine, so it’s difficult to enjoy it because of that.

Fans of jazz, or of jackpots of $250,000, should try it out and see how they like it. It’s going to be stingy on the prizes though, especially with only 9 pay lines for combinations to form on.
